Cookies
Last revised: 4 August 2026
This Cookies page describes how Latchwork Quests, an independent quest-room venue on George Street in Sydney, uses cookies and similar tools on these pages. Read it with our Privacy page. We host timed puzzle sessions, team briefings, private bookings, and night shift quests. This notice covers only the venue website you are reading, not a payment terminal or a third-party booking tool after you leave this site. It also does not cover social networks you open from the header icons after you leave this site. We run live quest rooms, not a franchise scheme, and we do not claim nationwide same-hour coverage.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences, keep basic functions working, and understand how journal and price pages are used. Similar tools can include local storage used by a form script. None of these files change a session waiting in the venue, a named hold under your celebration, or a Saturday extra slot on the board. They also cannot unlock Gift Passes after that tray week has already closed. A cookie on this site cannot rewrite a player count that the venue already confirmed in writing.
Cookies we may use
- Needed cookies — required for navigation, security, and core features such as the contact form, journal remarks, and session signup on this venue site.
- Choice cookies — remember choices such as language or layout where available, so a return visit to a quests or prices page does not reset a simple preference.
- Count cookies — help us understand which journal and book pages are visited so we can improve the venue pages. These are used only where enabled and are not a loyalty partnership.
Outside cookies
Some pages load fonts or scripts from third parties (for example Google Fonts). Those providers may set their own cookies according to their policies. Latchwork Quests does not control those files. Social icons in the header and footer may lead to networks that set cookies after you leave this site. Follow those networks under their own rules. A map or font provider is a technical helper, not a partner that receives your price ticket.
How to manage cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you disable needed cookies, parts of the site may not work as expected, including a form that sends a note to [email protected]. You can also write through the book page if you have questions about cookies on this venue site. Blocking cookies here does not cancel a session hour, a named hold, or a group booking, because those live in the venue diary, not in your browser. Player counts and room notes stay with the card until the session is run or cancelled.
Revisions
We may update this Cookies page when our tools or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. Last revised 4 August 2026. Continued use of the venue site after an update means you should re-read this page if cookie tools on the journal or contact forms have changed. Latchwork Quests remains a neighbourhood quest venue on George Street in Sydney. Questions about cookies can be sent to [email protected] together with enough detail for us to find the page you mean.
