Locked Circuit rooms after a host reset
Locked Circuit is one of the first doors you reach after the brief desk on George Street. Locks sit closed, tagged props hang on the venue board, and the corridor light stays low until the host starts the clock. Latchwork Quests treats that as a live puzzle after hours plus a short pause: you finally have a minute to look at the first clue story before the sixty-minute timer begins. The host stays on mail at the lobby desk and does not substitute a featured prop unless a guest asks and the room still holds it. This page is a room note from Suite 1, Level 10, 428 George St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia, not a claim that every Saturday slot is still free. Guests of two to six players share one story on one ticket. We do not swap Locked Circuit for Team Briefings or Private Bookings because someone asks at the door, and we do not start the clock without the ten-minute briefing that covers player counts, hint rules, and when the room can open early.
Once the session is live, puzzle work usually moves faster than the coded notes on the wall. A hopeful Saturday extra slot needs a note before Thursday so the venue can hold the room by name. Night Shift Quests still works as a weekday evening alternative, but it punishes a guest that wanted a daytime circuit and arrived expecting Locked Circuit. We log those notes against the session sheet rather than against a single lucky hour. Named holds stay until Friday. Walk-ins only happen when a hold has been released. The reset bay checks props between groups so the next guest does not inherit an open lock or a missing clue from the hour before. Hint notes stay on mail; they are not shouted through the door.
The briefing helped me catch the hint rule I used to skip. After that, the sixty-minute clock made me stop assuming we could wander the rooms without a plan. I still book Locked Circuit when I want a puzzle hour with colleagues, but I do not treat Saturday as a free extra slot.

Team Briefings and Private Bookings sit beside this room, not inside it. Book two to six players per hour, remember some Saturday slots sell out, and keep Gift Passes on its own seasonal calendar so a voucher run does not require a same-morning Locked Circuit swap. Family Sessions is a quieter pace; Night Shift Quests is an evening-heavy weekday slot. That split is why one venue can run a mystery circuit and a team agenda without sharing the same reset or the same hint script. Pack the named hold before Thursday if you need a Friday celebration group. After the clock, the host debriefs in the corridor, then the reset bay checks props, tagged locks, and the second-room door before the next guest is briefed.
This page is a room note. Latchwork Quests has run timed sessions from Suite 1, Level 10, 428 George St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia, since April 2019. We do not run a remote warehouse, sell a leftover prop as a fresh Saturday slot, or promise a seasonal Gift Passes print on a Locked Circuit ticket. Arrive for the briefing about ten minutes before the clock. Treat a sold-out slot as the truth until the next room sheet shows a release. The telephone desk is 0404 081 928; mail is [email protected]. Named holds, weekday group hours, and Saturday extras are logged there, not guessed at the door. We are a quest venue, not a mobile app store.
